Hunting With Marcus

The passion for hunting is shared among many people throughout the world. to be able to harvest and provide food for one's self is in our human nature. I believe my passion for hunting came from the influence my father has on my life. He has taught me many things in my 25 years of life but one lesson that sticks with me is leave the land better than you found it, respect the animals and be an honest outdoorsman.

I come from the Pacific Northwest and I'm proud to call myself an Oregonian. Our outdoor activities in the state of Oregon are some of the best in the Nation. With a bow in my hand I am often out in the woods chasing around Rocky Mountain Elk and Mule Deer. Growing up I was fortunate enough to have an amazing role model for a father and I can call him my best friend today. He taught me most everything I know about the outdoors and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. My father, Sean, started bringing me on hunts as early as 8 years old. I remember having a front quarter on an elk on a hand-me-down pack frame and falling over backwards because the front quarter weighed just as much as I did. These are the kinds of memories I cherish and that I hope to share with you as you read about my hunts, watch my videos and read my reviews.
